Banana Pudding

3/4 cup sugar
3 large eggs
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
3 cups milk
2 Tbsp. butter
2 tsp. vanilla extract
5 medium-size ripe bananas
1 package Nilla Wafers
Sweetened whipped cream

1. Whisk together first 3 ingredients in a large saucepan; whisk in milk, and cook over medium-low heat. Cook, whisking constantly, 15 to 20 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat; stir in butter and vanilla until butter is melted.

2. Pour pudding mixture through a strainer into a shallow pan. Place a piece of plastic wrap directly on surface of pudding; chill thoroughly.

3. Meanwhile, slice bananas.

4. Line pan with half of Nilla Wafers; top with half of the banana slices. Spoon pudding mixture over bananas. Top with remaining half of bananas and cookies. Top with sweetened whipped cream. Cover and chill until ready to serve.
