Volunteers are needed to write scripture verses on 3 x 5 index cards or similar-size paper for the Thursday lunch bags. A different verse has been selected for each week. Verses should be handwritten, preferably in print and not cursive. Please use either the NIV or ESV Bible translation. Personal notes may be added to the cards, but no personal information should be included. A simple message letting the recipient know you are praying for them is a perfect addition. We would also ask that you lift up the recipient of the food bag in prayer as you write the scripture. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Lisa Latham at lisa@graceskitchen.org to schedule a week. Please indicate how many verses you would be able to write, keeping in mind that this is a wonderful project for groups. If you decide to take one week, you will be asked to supply 75 handwritten cards for that week.
