Grace’s Kitchen the restaurant will operate on a pay-as-you-can model with the target location being downtown Birmingham, Alabama. There will be no prices assigned to the menu; instead, diners will simply pay whatever they can afford for their meal. Our desire is to create a restaurant where people of all socioeconomic levels will want to eat and where everyone will be served with dignity and respect. Each guest of Grace’s Kitchen will be offered the same menu choices and treatment, no matter if they are able to pay. The restaurant will be run with the help of volunteers who will assist with meal preparation and serving.
