On Friday and Saturday, 13 Grace’s Kitchen volunteers turned 100 pounds of green beans, 50 pounds of macaroni, 25 pounds of butter, 25 pounds of Cheddar cheese, and 7 pounds of brown sugar (among other ingredients) into 96 pans of macaroni and cheese and 110 pans of green beans with bacon. These frozen sides will be given away with turkeys to needy families in Alabaster through Kids’ First on December 18.
